There are much less "cRPG is dying" threads than *before*. The servers become more and more populated as time goes. But it also seems there are slightly more known people quitting the game (they usually come back though, as Dezi said this mod is cocaine.)

It is, but my breaks grow longer every time I stop a while.

Servers are full most of the time, that's right.

But I think that cRPG is definitely dying. Support has never been worse, these last few patches haven't brought any major change and I'm pretty sure we won't see anything really new before mod finally shuts down.

chadz and co. are probably working on Asinus, cRPG isn't top priority anymore.

cRPG is dying just like WoW. A lot of people play both games but dev support is getting worse.

Mod is d3@d (WOW!  that's really auto filtered into At fifteen, I had the will to  learn ; at thirty, I could stand ; at forty, I had no  doubts ; at fifty, I understood the heavenly Bidding ;  at sixty, my ears were opened ; at seventy, I could  do as my heart lusted without trespassing from the  square.?  hahaha)  talk started hard when Skyrim, Star Wars, Battlefield, and other nerd pleasers came out during last Holidays, and people realized development stopped on the mod.

A bunch of people came back after that fun got all sucked up, but I imagine Guild Wars 2 will end up sapping a lot of cRPG factions as a whole away from this mod because it might scratch a similar itch, except with 10000x more content.

I certainly enjoy hopping on to this game for an hour a day still, but who knows in the future.  Especially if we can take cRPG grudges to a brand new PvP game!

Will never die until a better option is given to us players, on the genre and "skill" requirement.

We gotta thank the fucking gayfuckstupid apple coca cola shitconsole generation for killing the Video Game industry.

Many more people register over time but the population remains quite steady. That's either a sign of massive multikey using in Strat winkwink, or that's a sign the mod attracts people when Steam does sales weekends but they quit very fast.

I don't think we can do much about that. They have to fight people that spent two years training, and the game gives you the feeling you have to be equally good even though you don't have as much experience, the playing field of characters being fairly flat it justs insults people's ego when they are crushed on equal terms of character levels and equipment.

Just 2 questions if i may:

1. Would it be possible to filter out all the Grey keys out of this statistic ? I'm interested to see just how many of those 2500-3500 keys per day is theirs.

2. Is this Stig guy illiterate or mute ? You keep posting on his behalf and when he posts its usually a quote from someone else.

Oh and to the OP: no, the mod is not dying at all. Certain processes are happening but dying is not one of 'em.
Do you honestly think you have any sort of moral authority, Reyiz? Go genocide some more armenians and deny it ever happened, please, and stay in the middle east.

Guild Wars 2 is awful and nothing like cRPG. And sadly nothing like GW1 either.
Meaning lies as much

I wouldn't say the community is dying as seen by the consistent amount of players playing this year on the statistics page, we "think" it's dying because of the current inactivity and boredom on Stategus and the rather slow input from developers improving the game.
