Lag

I recently encountered an issue in my game, which is a constant stutter, which makes the game hard to play. I repaired c-rpg with the launcher, and lowered settings, but the problem still persists. Running my game before was fine, so this is recent. Any ideas? I was gone for 4 weeks, so has there been any update that would have caused this? Thanks for the help.

Disable Editor-Mode

Force Single Threading ON

Disable Blood

In the Launcher settings.

------------------------------------ If your lags caused by the game itself.

Reinstall your Graphics Drivers

Check Virtual Memory

------------------------------------ If your PC is the problem.

forced single threading does not help at ALL unless you have really old crappy dual core cpu.

Turn 'load textures on demand' to the opposite position to see if it helps

if you've got nvidia videocard and latest drivers - you can try to downgrade your drivers. Sounds strange, but latest drivers works bad with warband.

I have the same problem. Changing the settings doesn't help, looks like we have to wait for an update.

Yes this lag came after update, other possible reason is if you are using eyecandy for strategus.

Thank you everyone for the polite and helpful responses. After trying all of them, I came to the conclusion that is indeed the update causing the issues. I have full faith in the modders to fix the lag and stutters. Until then I wander in DayZ. Have a great week!
