Repair Costs

Hi All

If chadz read this:

Please change anything on repair: its not so nice with the repair because if u watn to take a better armor first time u must run with peasant armor that u can earn some money (because the repair costs) u only earn 50 Gold per minute (x1) and if u be in the looser tema u cant earn money. Its very hard to earn money i think. Perhaps we can change anything like other gold per minute like :

x1 = 100 Gold
x2 = 200 Gold
x3 = 300 Gold
x4 = 400 Gold
x5 = 500 Gold

Perhaps only !!!

U can take a little bit higher prices but at the moment its so hard to earn money if i see that some people had 500 k gold to the time i had 4 k :/

Please ... Perhaps u can anything Change :D

Nice Greetings Tibbers

Repair costs is fine. You can easily run with 15k-20k worth of body armor alone, especially if you do not carry the most expensive weapons and several of them. You'd be surprised how effective are some weapons below 3000 g worth. And dont carry a bloody xbow unless you are a real xbowman - if you do and the costs are bankrupting you, you have no right to complain.

Maybe decrease the repair cost to 70% from what it is now?
E.g 600 repair cost for drez lam armour
down to like 420 repair

oh, how nice another thread like this.

like others said its really fine. no one can afford to play permanently with complete high-end gear, and thats great. personally i think repair costs could be raised a tiny bit (or lower income if you like), but not essential.

In my opinion, repairs are VERY balanced right now.

I'm running around the NA servers with a lolstr build, and having a good time with it. I wear a lot of plate and carry some pretty expensive weapons (dropping about 3000 or 4000 if I end up repairing everything at once), and I still maintain my money supply ( +- 5,000g from my budget minimum, +- 50,000g max).

I think it's fine, to be honest. But if you want to increase the money supply, I can't say I'm complaining x)

Repair Costs are way too high and items are damaged too often.

Also why do i have to repair my Horse for 1300+ Gold, after it was wounded or died?
 :rolleyes:

I agree. You should pay for a new one instead.

Never see me complain about repair cost because i do the work and earn the gold to support a very costly build. I'd like to see the cost increased for everything.

Yesterday went 19-3 in battle with roughly 25k of equipment ( yes not amazing, but just using an example ), wearing peasant clothes with a great long axe and 3 stacks of heavy throwing axes, was earning alot of gold and still getting the kills.

Upkeep is very balanced atm only thing bad on using high tier armor is that the new wpf % removed on weight is slightly high.

I was feeling myself slow on a character with 20 agility, 6 athletics and on 160 wpf in 2h with sarranid guard armor which shouldn't be the case.
