Braceable pikes

Ask the Deluge guys if you can use their braceable pike idea. It's pretty awesome. :) Pikes are meant to be used in groups to counter horses, so I don't see why a bracing ability would be a problem.

Why would anyone use braceable pikes if you can just stab and spin to kill anyone or anything within a 5 meters radius of you?

Add it and give a +4 to "PS" so you get a nice big damage output to make the thing seriously dangerous for horsymenz.

In deluge it looks pretty good and might be useful for big groups but otherwise it's rather bad. Only benefit you get from it is you won't drop your pike in high speed hit. Hit detection is messed up and at least I have big troubles getting horses hit with it. Much sure way to handle incoming horses is to stab and then quickly pick it back up or keep fighting with sidearm.

Wouldn't still mind, it looks awesome  :D

I like this for realism.
I like this for common sense
I like this because we need to be rid of pike martial art plate ninjas and the ridiculous things they could never even begin to do if there was a drop of realism

I am conflicted..

The cRPG pikeman would hate the removal of pike-fu.. but it just makes so much sense.

Add upper attack for pikes/long spears like in WF&S...

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.

You can't import animations, models, or any source code from WFaS to warband. WFaS is from Sich.

lol this is false, you can simply give pikes upper attack by using item editor or just simply change it via using python, and yes you can, you can import animation from other mod to any mod

YES this is needed, add overhead stab for pikes & long spears to make them more feasable as a main wep, atm you can just facehug any piker with downblock on and spam him to bits.. :?

Lies, a good pike-fu artist will kick you and fuck your face up with a leaping spin poke of doom. It's already awesome, but I think it should be more awesome.

Does someone remember the overhead-stab that the devs tried for some time? Or have you played a mod with an overhead-stab? They look and feel rather dorky.
