Ofcourse you can spawn. Just don't go AFK ingame... because that's leeching.

There were two of you, in both teams, standing on the flag in an otherwise empty server so that the round wouldn't end and you wouldn't have to look at the game even to respawn. I don't know how long you were at it, but there was more than 15 minutes between it being reported on IRC and me logging on to find you still there, so I'll wager it was a while.

You were leeching, and you've been banned for it before. No use in making excuses.

You made a mistake by getting caught, but I don't think you were breaking the rules by accident. It's a long ban, but this was really blatant leeching. After it expires, maybe you'll actually want to play the game instead of just tabbing out of the window.
