I had it for many days already: I have no sound... I don't know why but it's annoying. My speakers are on, in the options the sound is turned on but i don't hear anything ingame...
Why not?! Someone ingame told me it might be a bug from Warband itself but I don't think so because other mods have sound too... And cRPG had sound.

You using Warband launcher or CRPG launcher?

I can't really fight good sometimes because I can't hear if I already blocked the attack or not...

Sure you checked the settings everywhere? Try a reinstall.

unplug your speakers and plug them back in. I bet that will do the trick. Run as admin maybe?

possible solution:

-you have eliminated your in-game volume, either by the game settings or your pc settings.
-your headphones are fucked. Sad, but happens.
-Your installation is fucked up. Try re-installing.
-You didn't update. There were reported sound issues on the previous patch that were fixed with this patch.
-Game sound is blocked. Run as admin.

My speakers are ok, running as an admin didn't help and reinstalling or updating doesn't work because it doesn't access a special file (which isn't really existing)...

Just a tip, might help, might not.

When you load up Warband, go to settings in the launcher, and see if "Disable music" is ticked.

Try to untick it, and lower music volume in game.

Also if the "disable sounds" one was ticked, you found the issue.

I already did this all, I hate the native music anyways so I turned it off ingame. But the sound is on in the launcher and on max. ingame...

Oh, well, I just found out, that there is some sound... But it's veeery quiet... So I just have to find a solution to make it louder somehow...

There is just one single file which can't get accessed, which avoids the updating and re-installing. But the file doesn't even exist wtf??
