Addiction
« on: April 30, 2012, 11:42:57 pm »
Haven't played this for two or three days.

This afternoon had a nap... guess what I was dreaming about?

Open plains, me being last against 10 or 15 Vincent Ruths (guys in milanese plate wielding flamberge). Killed four of them before I woke up...

Now I'm really glad I stopped playing.

I doubt you could not play for an entire week without suiciding.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

No, I don't feel the urge to play. It's subconscious...

Like many kids I like the "setting", you know, knights and swords...

But I'm not history freak like others here. I guess there are two things I really like about this game:

1) amount of people playing at the same time
2) complex fighting system

As soon some other game beats cRPG in those two categories I'll be hooked again.

But "setting" has some unwanted effects. Past two days I've spent 2 hours on these two sites (http://www.sword-buyers-guide.com and http://www.kultofathena.com/) searching for a perfect sword to buy.

Tbh, spending 8 to 10 hours per day would be a lot smarter in Diablo 3. I'm however not interested in gameplay of D3 but I think I'm decent trader and considering potential of D3 economy, I could earn some cash while playing D3.

Suicide caused by boredom? nah. Even if what you said was true its not about crpg in particular.

A kitchen knife will do just fine.
You should not buy things you dont 'need' and not going to use.
