Can't decide on what 2h to get...

I use both and approach with the morningstar, run away, switch to the german and then instalolteleportstab them in the face.

The only problem is that you have to play safe as other 2handed swords have a higher length than the Longsword. Besides of that, the Longsword being so cheap, has the perfect stats and damage.

You could try other swords and decide then if you like them.

go with sword of war its the best high range 2 hander anyone who uses a german greatsword is just plan dumb 2 thrust dmg is not worth it 1 speed rating makes a huge difference and a sword is for slashing ppls heads off if u wanna thrust get a spear for real. im one of the best duelists in the game i know what im talking about dont listen to the nobs in this forums saying shit like german greatsword just L O L. pathetic knowledge of the game

Get a Morningstar.

if you want a sword with a punch get a Claymore if you REALLY want a sword with a punch get a Flambuber (youll need to learn the way of the Flamberge first th, there is a tutorial actually).

Morningstar is good too but is ungalanced and short.

I use an MW greatsword , the 94 speed and 28 stab . it's my perfect speed/damage ratio.

German greatsword is ideal for me as i use the thrust alot and i dont duel many people because i play siege, dont listen to the knobheads who try to tell you there is only 1 viable weapon choice

morningstar,bar mace for close range,danish gs when you have more space.
goenindag,longsword,katana,bastardsword when you play rageball
mauls for siedge

other weapons you may consider using war cleaver,sword of war,german gs,great sword,bardiche.
I like danish because it is second longest 2h,and flamberge is too hard to learn to play for me.

I'm not sure why I went with the classic two handed sword initially, but it turned out to be an awesome all round weap.  It could use more thrust i guess, but i still lolstab pretty well with it.
