21/15 Shielder
7 IF, 7 PS, 5 Shield, 5 Ath, 5 WM. You cannot do anything wrong with that. Good hp, nice damage, quick enough in movement with medium gear.
18/18 for any class, e.g. Foot Archer with 6 PD.

good weapons are 1handed -> Arabian Cavalry Sword. Good damage and nice length. Just be careful while swinging next to friendlies.

I love the ACS... It has good meta game potential because of its length.

ACS is horrible NOOB friendly weapon.  Scimitar, Nordic War, Long Arming, Italian are far better choices

ACS isn't bad, just because NA players don't use it, take a look at EU.
It just never caught on as a flavor over in NA.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

I love the ACS personally, one of the few swords that I use (Also love the Military Cleaver).
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Try the standard scim. It is fast, long, air hits, does good damage and doesn't obscure your vision during combat when held overhead. Nordic shields and kite shields are good for low shield skill builds as they protect your feet well and have decent stats.
PK is back

PK is a collection of elites from throughout modern and ancient history. Giants of Calradia individually, as a group these gods of combat shatter all expectations and ascend to a higher plain of victory that only a few have seen before.

Lots of strength and big two hander. Swing like a crazy person till you learn how to block. Maybe you will be better than me with a shield, I sucked until I started using a two hander...I still suck, but at least I kill people now. Getting a little better at blocking, but still terrible at it... But at least when I get into a big fight, some mother :!: er is going down with me.

Digglez is right about the scimitar, especially if you are a real newb, it is almost ideal not being able to do anything but slash. You will accidentally do the stab and while you go "shit, I didn't want that" the dude will hug up on you and slash your face off.

You will potentially live longer with a shield. You will potentially kill people more easily with two hand/pole. I played a long time witha shield, I just couldn't kill people...I get more kills with 2 hander, but I am way quicker to die, but tat is because I am a newb and suck.

Do it the way I did it, start with a shield, then remove your shield agaisn't people with anti shield weapons, you get to train manual blocking agaisn't easier weapons to block (slower/unbalanced) then slowly remove your shield.
