Unfortunately, it's not a matter of cash for the game but cash for the computer.
This game is too amazing for my computer, i'll come as a newbie in one year.

People on the private forums think End May because so far its been 1 beta event a month.

If they can give out the "minimum configuration to play with no lags at <horrible> settings everywhere", i'd be delighted.

And i've planned to buy a new PC in 3 month time anyway, after my... first... three months of salary. Because, let's face it... vista sucks.
Thanks for the proposition though. You can count on me as a human Guardian when the game will be out. I've never been fed up of playing that sort of class, even in Lotro. (or a female Norn Ranger with feline pets, they do look great, but it's a bit cliché...)

It's extremely laggy at 10ish FPS at its most on both Lowest and Highest settings for me while a friend of me with a less-good PC has the game going at max graphics as smooth as possible, so they are working on it.

I play from a laptop (a decent one, but far away from the average stationary) and I had constant good FPS and no lags (apart from the server crashed xD)

Even when we did that underwater dungeon I didn't have any lags. Even when all I heard in TS was "OMG, this is unplayable! I got like 2-3 FPS!".

TL;DR: Seems like there's a lot of optimizing to be done, but that it SHOULD run on even low-end computers when it's fixed.

Last beta is was not very optimized and higher end PC's were having troubles running it. I'd recommend you wait until they fix that.

Didn't mean to sound harsh, but I just figured with a game that rely's heavily on movement and what not wouldn't the ping affect that?

Nope, Gw1 had absolutely no ping problems with a lot of EU clans playing in NA servers because EU servers were dead.

Neither does Gw2.
