When fallen did that early in this version of strategus the dev's came online and destroyed their village (flying carpets and fire balls).
It's against the strategus rules to attack your own village to prevent an enemy from attacking it (or to delay them in attacking it so you can re-inforce).
I'd suggest you go to the c-rpg IRC (in the top right corner of every web page on these forums) and clearly tell them what happened : "A faction in strategus is attacking their own village to delay me from attacking it"
They could easily be having someone who's not officially part of wataga helping them out to try and avoid breaking the rules. I'd certainly start making noise in IRC and see if you can get anyone to look at this for you.
