Right. And while we're at it, let's just go ahead and remove all weapons save the danish, and if you aren't wearing a kuyak, instant global permaban.

Just my opinion, but they fuck up the game, when theres guys that need over 10 good hits its just fucking lame and boring and stupid. Thank you.

You must have 0 PS when you need 10+ good hits to kill someone. I have lordly milanese plate armor with 8 IF and I sometimes die in 2 hits.

I honestly think the game would be a lot more fun if it was more lethal. I think battle would be far more exciting if at any given time you were always one or two mistakes away from death.

You already are.

Are we playing the same game?

Not really. If I take an 18/21 build with 6 IF, my loomed medium armor already lets me survive anywhere from 3-5 hits, barring held high-speed bonus hits from high damage weapons (which are fairly easy to block, if you are paying attention). This, combined with the relatively slow pace of combat, means that melee fights can tend to be fairly dull.

I feel the degree of body armor I currently have (58) should be the armor value used for fully loomed plate, that medium armor should be in the 30 armor range, and that light armor should be in the 10-15 armor range.

Even my 12/27 STF can usually take a few hits before going down (assuming I don't gore myself with my own speed bonus), which is somewhat silly.

That's nice and everything, but what about ranged?

I'm afraid you forgot about that.
This would make ranged insanely overpowered.

It would not be difficult to adjust ranged so that it kills the average player in the same number of hits as is currently the case.

You can already do that: wear light armor or no armor at all.

Certainly, but that isn't going to make your opponents any less able to tank hits. I feel the game would be far more fun if everybody was 1-3 hits from death, right from spawn. You would have to be on your toes all the time. Missing blocks would not be an option.

Armor should stay the same, if not buffed to previous loom values (+7 instead of +5). What i would like to see is enhanced multiplier for head hits. It should be x2 at least.
