Holy fuckballs those armors for crusaders look amazing.

And add that coat of plates one provided you remove the retarded circles on the arm joints

Those "retarded circles" are couters and are needed to protect the elbow, and even if they weren't they look good on the splinted armor.

It's still pure fantasy, the cut, the mishmash of armor types and even the fabric.

Am I the only person who thinks fuck new armours, give us new things to slaughter people with on the battlefield! I do not care about new crpg barbie dresses that come out each month, I would like to see new weapons in every class. When is the last time this has happened?

first off this stuff wasn't even created for CRPG so why would we be allowed to use it?

There is a difference between armor released for common use, such as the plates, and mod-exclusive items like this and in 1257AD and so on.

True enough. It would be really nice to have some new weapons in-game. Problem is though that most medieval weapon concepts have been already used, so we would just have the same types of weapons with different looks to them (not saying this is a bad thing; quite the opposite). The only weapon I can think of that could be added is the Crow's Beak, but they pretty much took the Miliary Pick for that.

As for the Crusader stuff, +1 for me. I followed that mod for a while but figured it was dead now. Looks amazing, and I'd much rather have that kinda stuff in-game rather than the pictures I posted. Crusader ftw.  :)

All the armor I've posted is not being placed in a mod (to my knowledge), it's just for the common man to use if he'd like. I've seen several helmets/weapons, etc. that were used in mods before cRPG plugged em in. Just saying.  :)

They're OSP's, Open Source Projects, everyone can use them, the armor from the Crusades mod aren't.

True enough, though I think some modders wouldn't mind having their equipment advertised in a different mod. I'm no modder though, so I couldn't say for sure.

What we need is some mail shirts with leather addons and paddings, like in the witcher 2. The sort of thing late medieval knights would wear when out of plate.
Sounds great, though I've never played The Witcher. Most of what the common soldier could afford was that, and even that was luxurious. I think though if the devs are going to be adding any more major features to this mod, that armor customization should be whats added, similiar to what The War of the Roses is featuring.
