About

We are a Guild Wars 2 guild based on pretty much entirely Warband players, where 95% is cRPGers, actives and inactives all together gonna slaughter lots of random mmorpg players who are hiding in their puny castles & settlements.

We're encouraging cRPGers who are going to play Guild Wars 2 to come and have fun with lots of others, get to know eachother and so on with various cRPG clans, so far we've got pretty much these cRPG clans within our ranks and happy to have them.

These clans are (Even if it is just one player): 22nd, The Antarian Empire The Bandits, BashiBazouks, The Fallen Brigade, Knights Hospitaller, Great Khans, Merciless, Ninjas, Nords, SmartGaming, Black Tea, Vendetta, Aegis Sovereignity and The Grey Order.

Recruitment

We are pretty much keeping it to cRPGers/Mount & Bladers and some friends recruitment, we don't want a guild filled with the worst kind of randomers, which are the mmorpg randomers who join your guild and ask for your shit, rob you and then leave and call you a dickhead. So this is why we're keeping recruitment to private recruitment, any guild member will be able to recruit people, make sure they fit in and know there's gonna be a bit of trolling, afterall we're with the cRPG community.

What we got for you

- A bunch of cRPG trolls all stuffed together killing people to boost their e-peens.
- A teamspeak 3 server that can be upgraded to as much slots as we need.
- A fair amount of Captains (I'm unoriginal I know) of all kind of clans to give a general direction where to zerg.
- Events? Most likely.
- Plenty of stuff anyway.

Why the fuck would you play GW2?

A real live action Strategus, nearly - which goes by the name of World vs World PvP. And a load of other excellent features you can review them better here

This is a big read, but worth reading, or read the too long; didn't read version.

Reserved spam.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

What makes this game different from other MMO "press skill button, watch shiny graphics, press skill buttons in combinations=skill" type gameplay? Why is this interesting to me as a Warband player? I'm genuinely asking, I never got around to playing the first one. I know nothing of the mechanics

hi

hi

What makes this game different from other MMO "press skill button, watch shiny graphics, press skill buttons in combinations=skill" type gameplay? Why is this interesting to me as a Warband player? I'm genuinely asking, I never got around to playing the first one. I know nothing of the mechanics

Well, there is ofcourse still the button mashing of a regular mmorpg, sadly we won't see a M&B like mmorpg anytime soon I suppose, So let's get on with it.

Damage in the game is avoidable, if an enemy is lining up a big spell, you can dodge it and keep on fighting. Positioning relative to your enemy and your allies will be a key factor during combat, among other things.

When any enemy attacks you, you can actually dodge away double tapping in any direction or using a designated hotkey while moving in a direction, by using a spell that makes your character move like a leap or teleport, or even by simply running away. Dodging also evades attacks, making it an way to avoid big attacks or to get out of AoE spells.

There are also skills that when "held down" they will be blocking incoming projectiles, so basically shielding, people behind you won't get hit either so it's also timing.

Every skill in the game has now been added into the animation blending system similar to how the Warrior's Chains work. This makes it so every skill can be chain combo'd like an action game, you don't have to wait for the animation to finish in order to use another skill.

Because the way targeting enemies works in the game, you don't actually have to target anything to use your skills, also if you got say a big weapon you can hit multiple people with it if they standing with eachother, so you're not bound to use your attacks on 1 person only.

Also for cRPG players I'd say it is gonna be interesting since there is a PvP gamemode called World vs World vs World, basically 3 servers get set in a huge fight against eachother in 4 huge maps where you can take over castles, villages, resource points and towers and so on which is active 24/7 for 2 weeks straight, you're allowed to build trebuchets, siege golems and stuff like that.

I saw some pretty sweet movie where there was 30 people using their advantage of huge walls and defensive artillery such as cannons and ballista's on their walls to hold off an attack for quite a long time against about 60 players, the 60 players managed to get in the castle but severely weakened and the defenders finished them off, more defender reinforcements came to the castle and the attackers regrouped and eventually got in with around 100 players against 60 players and took over the castle.

You can also upgrade them castles, villages and own them as your guild.

Lots of great info can be found here:  http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/guild-wars-2-mass-info-t25557.html

I am willing to preorder the game and even join a crpg guild but that name is getting me to lose interest...

I suggest you to vote for another name.

We're considering grabbing Warband possibly if its possible, otherwise I see no need other than some peoples personal tastes. Which appears to be nobody of the other 50ish peoples problems. I honestly don't care about the name.

Anyway, translation is beneath the header on top.
