I'm one of the least tactical players in this game yet I do fine against most archers in hand to hand. The troublesome ones are the people who've either put some points into hand-to-hand wpf or who can block long enough that their friends to help. Case and point: It's not the blocking which kills me but the people using it. So far as I can tell, from both a realistic and gameplay perspective, this is completely fine.
And the issue isn't just that it's good players doing the blocking but that it's good players who
allowthemselves to be put into that position. Even if I rush PrideCrusher he really doesn't have much to fear from me in close range. The main nuisance for him is that I stop him from using his bow for a little while. My plan, in these cases, is that hopefully I can distract him long enough that
my buddies get there before his.
if they are so good a little handicap shouldn't hurt them now should it?
This is the same logic used to justify the gross and inefficient subsidy for hydroelectricity in Ontario. Shame on you sir.
