Kalam, seriously? Panda banner, pink bear, unicorn? HEART?
If I remember correctly, you were going to make this a more serious and controlled bannerpack.
I do not approve and will keep an old version of AdNecrias' pack.
Certain unicorns are appropriate as they did show up on medieval banners. Granted, all of the "My Little Poney" unicorns better die in a fire...
The Cards one is not too bad though, in my opinion.
The Pink bear though is just terrible for the "serious" theme promised, and the panda bear is suspect.
Hearts actually show up in heraldry.
The purple unicorn is a
native banner, interestingly enough, and that's why I'm fine with things like that.
You'll find the banner that Loz dislikes in G, a banner that shows up as pink on surcoats
in native.
In fact, there's a native gold bear on
purple.
So these things combined with the fact that we've got flags that don't follow heraldic rules such as a stylized scorpion, D'Haran symbol, and santa-on-a-reindeer are what makes me accept them.
It's just got to be tastefully done, with the appropriate textures- not like the cartoons on banners we've seen in the past, for instance.
Anyway, that's my reasoning, and I wish y'all the best of luck with an alternative banner pack for those who are more stringent with symbols or intend for something more heraldic.
