I have so many windows disks. 

Diggles you forgot updating drivers is hard  .  And if you forget to download the network driver before you reformat then you gotta get on another computer and download it.

Unless you have a piece of shit dell, recovery discs reinstall all your drivers for you. And if have Win7, it'll find driver updates for you and will prob have a generic network driver to get you online.

I just use windows install discs, and i forgot about win 7 making my life easier.

Shiny recovery tools are for pussies. I use a disc or an image on a usb stick and I install exactly what I want, which is usually less than all the bullshit you get with recovery utilities. Furthermore, you can easily win 20gb on your hard drive by deleting the recovery partition and merging it into your main.

I would use recovery and stuff but the virus is in EVERYTHING and it won't go away, it just moves to .exe files and infects them, which causes my antivirus to quarantine them so I can't use that program -__- I hate viruse's -_-'

If the virus is everywhere, you are better using an external tool for scanning your whole machine, because your antivirus is very likely to be infected too.

EVERYTHING is So I just literally said "F*** it" and now its getting completely wiped and i'm having windows completely reinstalled with all drivers by a mate. Saves me doing it :L xx

most recovery/restore discs will nuke everything on your harddrive, occasionally you have to select 'advanced' options to choose the 'destructive' restore that will format the drive for you
