Does anyone like doing it? Anyone want to share a piece of their poetry, or set of short stories? I usually used tumblr for this, but I thought the cRPG community would like sharing stories with each other. I'd like to see tons of sharing and constructive criticism.

Here's a small short story of mine where I first tried using character interaction and dialogue:

Detective Lamar stepped outside into the cold, clean air. The chilling rain peppered his coat and hat as he lit a cigarette outside the crime scene. This fucker is toying with society, he thought to himself. This wasn’t just a simple murder chained from the past few weeks, this was brutal, this time it was a whole family.
Lamar’s mind was dipping in every little detail from the start. From the first murder, to this massacre, his mind paced back and forth just as he did outside the apartment complex.
“You okay, Matt?”
“Hold on.”
His partner, Dalton, had a white-collared shirt with a red tie on. His shirt was rolled up to his sleeves and his latex gloves were covered in blood. Dalton walked down the steps leading to the building and looked at him in concern.
“They found the same writings etched on their backs like they did the other murders,” Dalton said. “But by the looks of it, it looks like you already knew that.”
“Yeah,” Lamar replied, as he exhaled his addiction.
“Whoever this guy is, his-well, his methods just don’t add up.”
“You mean you figured it out?”
“Well how he killed the family? Sure. Followed the kid home from school, walked right in, right behind the fucking kid. And what did he do next, Dalton? The kid’s whole family was sitting right there on the couch. Next thing you know, guy takes out a silenced 9mm, and boom, boom, boom, three direct head shots.” Lamar imitated the serial killer’s actions, and blew the smoke off of his next drag like he was blowing the smoke from the killer’s barrel.
“So that’s the mother, father, and that kid’s older brother, right?” Dalton replied.
“Right.”
“What about the kid then?”
“See this is where it gets fucked up,” said Lamar. “See, the kid’s like what, 8? He was right below the killers hand, Dalton. He watched his whole family get killed.”
“Damn.”
“And from the way those shells scattered, every shell just bounced right off of little ‘Timmy’s’ head.”
“That still doesn’t solve the fact that we don’t know where the kid is.”
“You’re right. Go back inside and tell Officer Heiden what we know,” Lamar said. “In the meantime, I’m going to take another walk around the block, see if I missed anything.” Out of the corner of his eye, a figure was staring straight at him from a distant alley. Detective Lamar flicked his cigarette into a gutter and squinted his eyes. As soon as he approached the alley, however, the black silhouette that was so intrigued with him was gone.
