RO2 has really bad gossip going on, people say the first one is better.

Can't confirm this though.

RO2 is good. I've played it a fair amount. Quite hard, very realistic and very rage worthy. But once you get the hang of it it's great fun for the multiplayer (SP is obviously a load of shit as it's designed for MP).

RO2 is very much like cRPG. First you fail, can't kill anybody, get frustrated, etc. but later on, it gets better when you know how to play properly, and then, it get loads of fun

Another cheap games I can recommend are:

Dungeons of Dredmor. Really fun indie roguelike-game, great humor, awesome gameplay, nice catchy music, and diggles!
Just Cause 2. This game is so much fun to fool around in :D
Puzzle Agent. Now, if you're in to puzzles, this game is great for you! I personally loved it, the story, the game play, the art style.

I bought RO2 day one but never could get in properly. That game has a steeper learning curve than M&B, especially with all the vets from the first game that destroy you game after game. You also need a lot of patience.

RO2 is shit atm.

You can barely find any full servers, and if you do, half of the players are bots.

Would definately not reccomend right now.

For 20 Bucks or less I would suggest "Space Marine".

It´s awfully much fun in Single Player(Although rather short), and even though it´s not the best multiplayer game it can easily keep you hooked for a few weeks doing exterminatus mode and normal versus.

Might even buy the DLC after that with another awesome mode.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Freedom Force/ Freedom Force vs the Third Reich! :D

Make your own 60s style heroes/villains and play lovely LAN games with me! The campaign in the first one is pretty cool too, parody of old school comics etc etc.

I've played RO since it was a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 and have played every retail iteration following and I still could never properly get into it :D. Something about that theatre, I don't know -- but I've also come to realize that hardcore realism most of the time does not equate to fun to say the least. I preordered RO2 and played for a week before I got a refund. The most enjoyable thing about playing that game was getting the cool Team Fortress 2 soldier hat.

I guess you've tried it already but Alien Swarm is still free. If you have 3 buddies, it's great fun, much better than Magicka.

There is sale on Amazon atm, Space Marine is 8 euros. You have to buy it as US citizen but all it takes is fake US adress ;)

Other cheap steam games, let's see... Portal 2 is very cheap these days, but I guess you've already played it. Lara Croft and Guardian of Light is decent game as well, Deus Ex HR is on sale every two weeks lol, Defense Grid is cheap and best tower defense game ever, CoH package is cheap...

Some are steam some are not.

Yea Ive played alien swarm and portal 2. I might check out defense grid but I tend to get bored of tower defense games pretty quickly. Company of heroes is pretty much my favourite RTS ever so ive played the shit out of it.
