Remove the multiplier reset, or take the choke off of map downloads

Never happened to me but it could since maps are downloaded so slowly for some odd reason.

Remove multi reset entirely, silly that I can't miss a whole round(or more) and do some RL stuff without losing the multi.

Agreed. Pretty silly that I lose it simply because I was unfortunate to have to download a map at some point.

It's ridiculous that you can't go into spectator to take a quick bathroom break and keep your multi. The new system encourages leeching/kamikazee.

Whereas before a player might politely go into spec, if spec makes us lose our multiplier better to just rush in and die in 10 seconds wasting a slot the team needs than to simply toss an x5 away for no reason.

+1 and i want the server to record my multi so i can quit the game instead being spectator and have my multi when i join that server again. tbh i tought the multi reset was doing this when i first saw that message.

Agreed. Sometimes I have to break for a round to walk the dogs or make tea or whatever. Kind of lame that I have to lose my multi to do it.

Totally agree, they should remove the multi reset.  It was nice being able to go afk to piss and not worry about losing a multiplier.  So now if you have to go AFK for a couple minutes you don't go spectator when you die, you kamikaze to your death.  So instead of people being polite and going spectator, now they just leech or kamikaze...always seems like the dev's try to fix an issue and it just creates another one...

I think they implemented this because of people who would not play the first round and would wait til the 2nd round to play with the people who had their banner.  I think that was pretty lame and I never did that (I like to fight for my multiplier, even against clanmates on the first round).

It would be nice if they removed this.

If you miss a round (aka don't spawn) instead of being able to keep your multi it's reset the next time you spawn in.  Even if you go spectator you lose your multi

You have two choices in cRPG

Dwell in front of your monitor

Or attempt to use the bathroom/anything else and pray you dont get fucked over for having some sort of a life

Either with or without warm up, this multiplier reset has to go.

This is truly something not so good and would be good if properly adressed, but punishing regular players because they like to take breaks (for cigarretes, talking with someone, eating something or whatever) is definitely not worth solving this smallish issue.
