It's really bad and ruins a lot of game play.

Basically it's like this.

go into action mode..... then back to map... while reloading, all units nearby appear for a split second (without the number of troops, but position).. even if they are in the trees / out of range.

You mean when you select a location to move, everything disappears?

Or do units within your range, which you may not ordinarily be able to see (like bandits in the woods, or on a mountain) become visible for a brief time?

it appears that all units load very briefly and then disappear... all units except those inside towns...

Unless I'm doing it wrong (units in my field of vision flash when I select an action, but this doesn't entirely make sense with what the OP says - action MENU and back to the map?  How do you do that?) I am not seeing anything that I shouldn't see, unless I ordinarily see things that I shouldn't see.

No, I don't see the entire map, and I have had situations in the past where a dude was in the woods/mountain/etc and I couldn't see him until I got closer.


Maybe you guys are using the eye candy enhancer or something?


E: and no, I'm not trying to ask for cheats.  I just don't understand how this is an issue.  If it is, and it's just not explained thoroughly, I'd like to see it fixed.

yea im using the eye candy...

basically the units of all troops flash for a moment each time the map loads. So if i go into action menu in eye candy mod, then i go back to map, i get the flash for a second and then it disappear.

I think you have the "Army size" filter (top right corner) set to something else than "Any". This filtering happens on the client side after the original map was rendered, that's why you see all heroes for a second.

and now i see NO armies (heroes, lol) at all... there is nothing around me.... wtf...
