At least some of us can enjoy the battles while still poking harmless fun at each other, remember that without this little war there would be nothing to do in EU but fight battles on NA ping = Zzzz.
Never understood the life-or-death seriousness some players put into Strategus, namely lying to each other on Teamspeak for days/weeks to achieve an agenda that DOESN'T involve fighting battles but simply overwhelming your opponent in some form or way that the battle(s) are purely a formality, or all the personal attacks we see on the forum and in-game, pitiful behavior that shouldn't be condoned in any way. That behavior also carry over into the rest of crpg and future strategus rounds because how are you to trust such type of persons, you simply can't see yourselves having any 'fun' with someone so egotistic.
If the Nords would be wiped we'd whine on the forum of course but nothing personal or extensive. Who cares if you wipe in Strategus, then do something about it and come back - harass your enemies with caravan attacks, we for example thought about going max bandit mode - or sit it out until the next round and focus on practice plus other clan activities. The reason we have the means to be involved in this war is due to purely farming Strategus gold for the "Send gold to a distant relative"-feature which converted 1 strat gold to 10 crpg gold (we wanted to build a clan bank) --
but chadz ninja disabled the feature 
-- so we ended up tons of strat gold for no use. Templars then attacked and we took a vote whether we should spend the gold on a war or sit it out until the next round of Strategus.
Now everything is turning into the old hateful two-sided tune once again due to
a mad man.
