What kind of thrower are you?

Hey, just thought I'd see what kind of throwers we have around. What kind are you (or plan to be with current build)

Classes :
Pure thrower ; PT 8+, All wpf in throwing
Hybrid thrower ; PT 3-7, split wpf fairly evenly
Side armer ; any amount of PT, no wpf in throwing.
Not a thrower ; Self-explanatory

I'm a hybrid myself. I play javalry when I can afford to, defending my team from enemy cav and horse archers, harrassing enemy infantry until I use up my javelins, then charging in. On foot, it's the same, softening up the enemy line, damaging shields and wounding people before charging in.

Hybrid, 7 throwing and 100 (starting to regret it) wpf. This way I can use a shield and sword reasonably well.

Nah, that's just overdoing it and making yourself completely useless in any other aspect of the game.
Kinda like creating a cav guy with 14 riding, an archer with 14 PD, a 1h/shielder with 14 shieldskill or a spammer with 14 WM.

On the other hand, I might even try that build next gen. I hardly kill people in melee anyway and I don't have any WM or athletics now either. I just don't think I can be arsed to grind back to level 31.

Try it,it is very viable to one-two shoot peasants with rocks and one-two shoot almost everyone else with javelins(!).

Tho you are right, you wont kill almost anyone in melee fight due to lack of power and speed. Anyways, probably on server with large amount of people you will feel quite hopeless when you wont have any ammo, but in servers < 60 people you will just kill 6+ people in round, so... that is nice, I think.

I will next gen. It requires me to play a bit differently (more defensive), but I bet it will be fun to do. It will take me ages to get to level 31 though.

I tried a thrower with over 100 wpf and one with zero. Both had max PT(9-10). I found wpf to make a negligible difference in my speed or accuracy. That's a problem because I can have all the benefits of throwing + a melee weapon with almost no  drawbacks. I'm slightly slower but you learn to compensate your aiming and timing pretty quick.

I'm definitely a side armer.
