Awesome. Appreciate all the info guys. That's actually what I'm in the process of doing, it's just taking awhile since I'm horribly busy with the jobby-job right now. But yes, as I get free time I'm going through and re-arranging/removing/adding banners to coincide exactly with the Kalam/Overdriven pack.
Unfortunately though, or fortunately, (the perspective will vary for everyone I'm sure) not all banners for all clans/factions in Overdriven's pack will make it to this one unless a grittier, more medieval version is submitted.
For instance, The Bandits. Love your banner. It's well-done, not overly modern. However there are just a couple things that will need to change to put it in here. It has some kind of a glowing yellow outline - will need to get rid of that. And the skull and sword need to be simplified much more. They're good, just a little too detailed and sharp-lined. Needs to be more 'silhouette-like'. I can do the changes if you want, and if you don't like it, we don't have to implement them. Or your resident artist can render his version, either way.
One thing I'm also in the process of doing is going thru and QC-ing some banners that were already in the pack. Probably won't remove them, but try to get clans/factions to help submit a better one. Wolper comes to mind. Needs to be meaner, less cartoonish. It's a good silhouette, just needs... something. Need to FEAR the Wolper, not laugh when I see it. =P
Also, DoDnet, great idea on the additional download link. I'll see if Mendrak will mind and maybe she can start hosting the file on snowhawk.org again too. I like the idea of having it on M&B Nexus though as well for several reasons. There are great tools there for anyone uploading mod files. You can post images with it, descriptions, etc, etc. Also, it's sortof a free advertisement for cRPG. Anyone that plays M&B can see the file and might just be attracted to cRPG by seeing that clans can have their very own custom banners, as opposed to Native where you're just stuck with the vanilla versions.
Definitely appreciate ya'lls time and feedback. Good shit. Good times.
