muting ingame ... like forever
« on: March 24, 2012, 09:40:24 am »

There are people out there who can't stand me and i don't blame them, same counts the other way round!
Then there are people when i have to listen to them or to read what they write my eyes and ears begin to bleed
overall reading the stuff in ingame chat would drop my iq even lower if it hadn't reached rock bottom already.

So hear is my problem:
I want to mute "certain"  people not only for one game, but for any game to come!
How?

I can see the mute option ingame. But every new map or any reconnect to the server i need to mute the same dipshits again.
Isn't there something like a mute file been safed?

Any help with this would be deeply appriciated!!!

(if this isn't possible please move this topic to suggestions, where the suggestion would be to enable us in a way to mute people forever)

mute as in not see anything they type or not hear the in-game voice commands?

flood filter is sorely needed for the voice command menu, which is childsplay to code and would prevent large amounts of griefing by stupid children

spoken from my heart, i nearly forgot about those fucktards spamming voice commands, there is nothing worse in terms of grieving to me. These dudes should get banned for lifetime ... i am serious, not joking. I can't stand these voice command spammers.

I want to concentrate to give my best and maximise my game experience and also to know that i gave my best and when i lost then i do know it wasn't to any other circumstances but my own mistakes.

Yeah we need to implement a permanent qmv, I have to do it every session, so tiresome!

You should change the type size to way smaller, the text in this game is unnecesarily enormous. Makes the text not clog up your screen so much. Also, you don't have to read what is being typed. Maybe making it smaller helps ignore it.

To change text size go to warband folder/data and open font_data.xml with notepad or something. Change font_size=70 to a larger number. I currently use 90 and I like it. Might be small on small monitors though.
