Whistling for a horse

I no longer have horse skill and when I whistle the little buggers don't come.

Is this a new very un-indian jonesish thing?

I used to love calling horses to run people over during duels :(

Good news everybody! It's not nut cancer :)

You need the horse skill to required to ride the horses to whistle for them, iirc.

nope, I only have 5 riding and can whistle over coursers & arabs (6 & 7 skill respectively).  Would be interesting to see if 1 point in riding let you do this

You're wrong, as noted above, but this would be really nice.

Yeah. It was VERY annoying being dehorsed, see a destrier or whatever and whistle for it, only for an arabian to trot up to you.... Stupid horse, GTFO!
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

If you have higher horse skill than someone you should be able to whistle and stop their horse for a moment or something. Would be nice to abuse.

I'm pretty sure you only need 1 or 2 points in riding in order to whistle for any horse..

OR, maybe some horses which were nerfed to require more riding still go by their old riding requirement.

The nearest horse comes to you regardless if you can ride it or not. But you need some riding skill at all. I don't know if riding 1 is enough. But with riding 0 these stubborn horses don't come over.

The logic of war seems to be that if a belligerent can fight he will fight.

SHIT! That just made me think of something! Stubborn (that's -1) horses should never respond to whistles :D

I remember whistling a horse behind someone chasing me and it ran him over and allowed me to draw my bow and shoot his face. Don't think it makes about riding skill but this was a couple of patches ago. Whistling horses to bump players is best archer tactic :D

looks like I will be forced to have 1 riding if I am to enjoy the love of a remote control horse bump.

Cool story, bro. Only problem is that everyone knows you wouldn't be able to shoot someone's face if this person was close enough to give you a blowjob ;).
