NOTE TO ALL : I havent been to a city for a few strats and i dont pay attention if this already happens then i fail procede to flame
So i re read my drunk rambling post and realised something
using some Eu2/Eu3 features would be epic.
Im seeing a lot of rage due to the trade routes and obviously drz etc have profited from controlling large sections of land next to each other.
So i propose this change.
Marketplaces!
Each City has a marketplace. All cities buy goods at a set price all strat. (a better price then small village-village treks) maybe they should buy at a medium trade route price.
Now this would be a reason to fight over cities and prevent other clans by taking control (ie sending troops to the city to keep it neutral or threatning war if they attack it)
The long trade routes that cross the map would still provide the same gold as they do now so trade alliances wont lose gold. they are riskier ofc but they would make more cash then the cities but not so much to provide a total unstoppable advantage.
This also opens up the prospects for more players trading. instead of one maybe two caravans you could have five or six smaller ones moving to the cities.
This would provide more things for people to do (albeit only moving around
) but it would also increase the danger
Bandits would become far more common and earn more gold from captured crates.
This is only a rough idea and comments are welcome
