What do you like about your clan? Why is it more special then other clans to you? Does it have a theme? Why should a veteran join it? Should new players consider joining your clan? Does your clan also play other warband mods or other games? Why should anyone even join a clan, much less yours?

Antarian Empire

I like my clan because:

It's based on the Antarian Faction from the sword of damocles mod.

Now i'm a lucky bastard. There's 5 new factions in that mod, including the 5 native factions and I could easily of picked another faction to start playing. I only had the names to go off and "Antarian Empire" just sounded good so i went with it.

Boy did i wet my pants when I saw I had plate armoured infantry wielding 2 handers.

WTF??? My dream has come true.

First and last mod for mount & blade/warband that i ever played right thru the night and into the next day, not even noticing or feeling tired because I was fuelled by commanding my legions of death dealing omgwtf plate army. Out of the dozens (hundreds?) of hours that I played that mod, i think i spend about 20 mins playing as other factions.

Now it's my aim to build a clan that's as strong and organised as DRZ, for strategus.

I'm doing this the long and hard way though.

We dont let immature players and trolls become full members, they get kicked. We dont bitch and whine at players for not playing. We welcome each other when we want to play and we always have fun together playing.

We have fun theme nights where everyone gets to have input and have a voice in what we do - that leads into strategus too.

Item restrictions are lax - you can use what you like in strat. Most of us choose to use the antarian gear in some form or another (and that's not just limited to plate armour and a flamberge/shortened military scythe).

Recent comment from one of our newest members: "I like this clan as it's laid back."

Player skill can be learned, or taught. Maturity and player-respect cannot.

People play for fun right? They also want some team work too, otherwise why join a clan?
