Forcing the draw/tie

Draws/ties should be more heavily punished. Just losing your x3 or your x2 isn't enough. Both teams should have 1 round of x0. People will seriously reconsider going for a draw if it means that they miss a round of xp/gold. Of course this would only last one round and you wouldn't have to win a round to go back up to x1 but I think it would give people more of an incentive to try and actually fight in the round instead of camping and waiting for the enemy to come to them.

Just a thought. Not a very good one at that.. but man draws/ties are annoying.

No this wouldn't fix anything.  Griefing delayers would still draw the round out, and people would leave the server if they were getting no multi.

Also, admins are still players. Chances are they'll extend the round, leading to limitless round delays.

No.

I see no problem forcing a draw if theres maybe less than 30 seconds on the clock left, it's a smart move. I'd rather draw than lose knowing the fact that the other team didn't win.

1 Round of x0? Sure I'll just leave and come back.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It was just an idea I thought of while eating breakfast. Something needs to be done about people who bring the game to a draw on purpose and I was just throwing about ideas. Losing a x5 because some archer camps away in his fucking spawn is bloody annoying.

That would punish all the players who are dead and also all those who try to find the enemy on the map.

That's certainly a downside of this yes. It's only really applicable when both sides are camping.

Got it!

Admins get the power to force x0 for 3 ticks of the next round if there is significant delaying!
That way we get to threaten and deliver!

That's a good idea. The admin would need to be able to choose who gets the punishment. If it's just one person doing it then they get punished, but if it is the whole team then they all get punished. It certainly beats just kicking the person.

No. MOTF needs to be modified to prevent any chance of round draw/tie. That's it.

If a round lasts around 6 Minutes, MOTF should start at around 1:30 Minutes unless people are dying and fighting all the time. However if only around 30% of one team is alive at 1:30 I would like to see MOTF starting. That should stop draws, at least in most situations.

0x round is stupid, I would leave immediatly and join another server just to get xp and gold. Not really want to waste my time. Just saying I am also fine with the current situation, x1 is good enough xp.

This.

Making MotF spawn EVERY FUCKING ROUND IF NEEDED, will fix a ton of issues.  I agreed with your earlier post it should be somewhat random, maybe a random time between 1 and 2 minutes left, or some algorithm based on how many people are alive.

I still like my idea the best.  30s left everybody gets ported to center of map in a cage black lined.  There will be death =P.  Sudden death last 30s for all still alive.
