Not sure if this should be in General, off topic or spam... hmmm.

Anyway, during my usual borning saturday shift I though I would look up some stupid crap, like Helmets with Crucifix on top and guilded groin protectors. And while doing so started looking up things like the Earl of Warwicks armour during the War of the Roses. In so doing I came upon these gems and thought I would share them.

If Final Boss and his minions ever consider re-doing some of the 1h models this should be a +3 One Handed Axe.

I just love these types of cuirass, so manly, so hawt.

Nice armour Oberyn. I hope the head dress stuff they are working on for WoTR is as outrageous as it sounds. I want a honey badger or a bucket. A gilded bucket, can you think of anything more resplendent to stick on top of your Morion?

Tis' true that 3 models of Strange isn't very much to work with. This latest Byzantium pack introduced what, a least a half-dozen specimens? I wouldn't mind a Sengoku Jidai pack of like-quality somewhere down the line...

The armors might be historic, doesnt mean they are all intended for use on the battlefield.  Last helm in the OP was worn on formal occassions and parades IIRC. Someone posted a rather interesting lecture on it in historical discussion. Contained many of the items you've posted.

Frank and Oberyn -- "Pimp my armor" before "Pimp my ride" much ? I doubt the finely carved ones were ever used on a battlefield.

Btw, this shows that the corrazina model is extremely accurate.
