If i fight 1 vs. 4 or so I mainly try to kill their horses firstly and them afterwards.

Funny... I always hate it when cav DON'T go for the horses. Most cav seem to be ignoring the horse in favor of the rider... Who is a much harder target obv. b/c of block/shield/size and position.

How many times have I not seen a friendly cav charging straight ahead the horseman circling me only to have him go for the rider and get blocked when he could have just downed the horse and have the rider chopped up by me faster than you could say "ban all HA's".

Horses go down first. Always funny to watch dehorsed rider having to run halfway map to get in battle.

100 percent agreed.

I can easily outlance most people, sadly 90 percent of cav use coursers and aim for horses head, so I will kill them in 1 shot but they will leave my horse at black health or something.  The only way to effectively counter this is to totally ignore enemy cav or also aim for their heads, both of which is dishonourable.  So now I'll just go back to heavy cav and tank the scrub thrusts at my horse all round every round.

only if you both went for horse.. it's impossible to hit a rider without them hitting your horse first if they aim for it right.

I'm.. really not sure what the complaint here is for  Basically, lancers getting annoyed at getting their horse lanced when charging straight on other lancers? Isn't that just...what happens normally?

On riding away from a guy you've just dehorsed, if you're in the middle of nowhere I don't see the point in trying to fight a guy who has just turned into a spearman i.e. anti-cav (unless they're really bad)
