So how do you guys feel about recruiting? We're looking rather...compact. I'd like to change that. I've very rarely seen people go in battle server and type out "Hurp durp battalion is recruiting, check us out" but that kind of shit might work. Something like "If you're new and want to learn, feel free to check out The Pale Horsemen" Big problem I see is people getting bad impressions of us as "the clan that spams chat with recruiting" It's tough to single individual people out and ask them. People alt-tab a lot and many simply don't pay close attention to chat. It sucks trying to work some persuasive magic on someone and have them not respond in the slightest.


Thoughts? Gonna try to introduce my IRL buddy to c-rpg. He's getting his hours cut like a bitch and he isn't in school, so he's got a lot of free-time now. We'll see how that goes!

I think as we play our rep will bring people to us maybe. Although it may be a bit difficult for people to recognize us as we're a clan without a traditional tag. And yeah, getting friends and steam buddies might be a good way to go. Also, what about a G+ account?

OK, Strategus plan for now: Equip your 100-whatever men with peasant level gear (non broken stuff can be bought from Faraway Chide). You can check out some of the gear people have on the faction page in Strat; just buy the same stuff that you see the rest of us with. Then start buying goods from either of the villages and sell them in the castle, repeat. When everyone has more gold built up, then we'll go from there.
