I'm sure they already have gunners in the newest game.

They already did in Brotherhood and Revalations.


I'm just glad the feudal japan rumor was wrong. Because god knows there is not enough weeabo shit already. I'll take 17th cen America over that insufferable piece of water park (pun intended) any day.

Revelations all the roof guards have guns, as well as the jannisaries and their goddamn pistols. Also when you are trying to take over an area for a den there are posts where musketmen shoot from. It can be bloody annoying as they do A LOT of damage, especially early on when you don't have much health. But as long as you close them down they die very quickly. It's also annoying when you're in melee and get shot as it often knocks you to the ground  :|

It's one of the few games that actually gets much better the more games they release. I'm on Revelations now and I must say I'm finding it the most enjoyable out of all of them.
