Wealth bonus for LORDS

Every fief holder in strategus should get a gold boast to upkeep better equipment. Holding a fief, becoming a lord should be something like a social class, something you really play for.
Village +10 for 1x (5x=300g)
Castle +20 for 1x (5x=350g)
City +30 for 1x (5x=400g)
Amounts can be changed later to balance better.
There should be a difference between the City's lord and a simple peasant. Sounds medieval eh?

Don't worry oh my mighty LORD, you will have a boost of wealth if you are owner of a fief,
but in Strategus...

How many fief are available on the map? Not as much as players, that would be unfair for the others.

Btw, if you are clan leader, you should call your teammate to fight with you, and by your wise tactic and orders, you should win most rounds and then get a x5 and have no problem with upkeep.

Clan are already stronger in cRPG and much stronger in Strategus, that's logical but plz don't do something to nerf lone players, they have no real interest in Strat as it was (i hope crafting, trading and all the cool stuff that chadz is preparing for us will give a reason to play strat for lone players).

AFAIK, when strategus finally gets going again and with an economy, your wealth will be shared between strategus and crpg. So, if you are willing to spend your gold in cRPG upkeep, rather than do things with it in strategus, you will have the option.

Good news! If you hold villages, and produce more, you have more percentage to spend on upkeep. Am i right? Not that different than what i suggest.

No, actually, it is quite different. In fact, i imagine fief holders and members of factions might actually seek to use less expensive equipment, in order to have more wealth to use in strategus.

Also, with economy, non-faction, fiefless players will also be able to make gold in strategus.

So the new system is going to promote grinding & rag-tag gangs saving gold for Strategus under a guise of "economic apporach to cRPG"? Bad news indeed.

I don't think cRPG and Strategus will have a common gold pool, it would just be too abusable. I would like the old system back (when you could still get payed in cRPG for Strategus battles).

Just bad, i hope strat is not going to be like that . Some bonuses on the upkeep to fief owners, as eren said, makes much more sense then force landlords and his clanmates to go dressed as peasants to save money for strategus.

Uh, but gold won't be the driving force behind the economy, afaik. You will have to produce resources and craft items and gold won't help with that much.
