ATHW who doesn't love it!

Crafting in strat is fine, but ATHW is a PILE OF RAGING HORSE SHIT.

I'm not offering an alternative. All I want to do is find out how many other people think it a bastard. Its driving me mad trying to get crafting ticks. Spending gens wearing the same crap, carrying the same shit hoping to get a crafting tick. 7 weeks of 0 I'm totally spent. I need to buff out my crafting to help make my 3 man clan more capable. We are all doing the same thing trying to get a set of gear together. I have 1 guy with good crafting, good as an under statement. I've just got no idea how his crafting is so good given my play time nearly doubles his... Why is my highest crafting 16 and his 99... FFFFUUUUUU

Yeah, we have members who get the message all the time, even when they dont want it, and then members who have got it like twice, while i myself have got the message maybe 3 times, and i dont get why people over 31 dont get the message at all ? Doesnt make much sense to me, doesnt seem like my hard work is paying off if im grinding millions of experience to get to 32/33/34/35, and still not get ATHW.

Its been about four weeks since I last got a message. That was about when I changed some major parts.  I'm pretty sure it is linked to either how long you wear gear for or the number of times you have repaired it.  When I used to easily get a few crafting messages a day I was wearing gear that I had repaired several thousand times each up to then over the months of wearing it.  I guess with this new gear i'm back to 0.

got chadz text yesterday and last time before that was 3 generations ago. When i used to be a leecher i got chadz text 3 times a day and had 89 skill in white tunic and other shit.

Seriously, this needs to be changed. At the very least allow us to accept/decline the points so our real gear doesn't get screwed over just because we don't wear it for 5 minutes and get the message.

The idea I had the other day was this.

You can select any 4 items you own. Having them selected means each time you get a tick (XP + Gold i.e x1 x2 x3) 1 point is add to them. You must also be wearing the item. x3 adds a +1 x4 a +2 and x5 a +3. So at x5 you gain 4 points to your crafting XP bar. Each 30 points = 1 skill point. If this works out to be too fast or what ever then just change 30 to 40, 50, 60 or what ever it needs to be.

What we need is a drug/crack like xp bar that we can stare at and cry. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

This makes vastly more sense than the current system, and is far more fair. DO IT NAOW!!!!

I actually get chadztext pretty regularly and I want it changed.

From a gameplay standpoint it does not make a lot of logical sense.


I do like that you get Strat bonuses for what you use in c-RPG but really, the system needs an overhaul!  Needs to be more predictable, and give a larger bonus.

Honestly, the current system would be fine if, let's say, you had a good chance to get it after beating a game of DTV.  Trade gold for chadztext.
