Peasant server

i dont know if this would be too much trouble just for some peasants, but we all hate lvling from 1-20, so i thought; why not make a server for them?

It would be a battle server only for people from lvl 1 to 20 (possible to add some kind of lvl restrictions?), so you wouldnt have to fight lvl 30 agi spammers and die within 5 sec.

i know you might say, that you're only lvl 1-20 for like 2 hours, but i still think it would be nice to be able to actually play instead of just leech those two hours.

anyways, what do you think?

Nah not really worth it in my opinion. Just be useless and get your ass kicked for a few hours, otherwise the most annoying thing about retiring is gone.

It could actually be really really good i'd say. Like a beginners trial. Though i'd say from 1-15.

Since the whole respec thing would also fit in.

well, there IS already IMPLEMENTED by cRPG dev's team possiblity to set maximum lvl for servers.

We just need to either  buy another server or sacrifice existing.

Also i suggest that peasant server DOESNT do a banner balance thing.

And maximum lvl should be 20 lvl, yes.

i agree that non-banner balance is a good idea

the idea of lvl 15 max isnt good imo, as the playerbase for the server would be too small then.
Lvl 20 is still kinda low lvl, but tehre will be enough players to actually get some battles going on the server.

I love getting a klill at first level, and every level afterwards. Embrace your peasant hood, the current version of the mod makes it moore possible to get a kill at low level.

While in theory this sounds great, it would be an easy farm for retired players and their heirlooms.

You would need to block all Heirlooms from use, and possibly block out other things.
That is.... if you are truly trying to help the new players.

Peasants can be useful! Everyone is horny for some peasant kills. Block until your teammates backstab the horny bastards.

This would be a good idea for newcomers, to not get overwhelmed by the "old timers" who have been playing a long time.
This mod is definitely not for a newcomer to the Mount & Blade: Warband game... they need to have a good bit of experience to jump in and play cRPG anyway.
Also, some of the old players are very rude to newcomers and it can be very discouraging to new players.

Iv been messing around with an event that would be held for just this purpose. Basically lvl cap the server for a few hours. It would give a lot of people a break from grind retiring their Main chars and let them try some new builds with out the frustration of being a peasant in a server with level 30s running around.

MB in itself isn't very new-comer friendly. First time you join a server you're going to be left thinking the game has the most unbalanced melee ever.

Come on, its part of the charm to be semi-useless the wee first hour after retirement. No need for a pure peasent server, Its just way more satisfying running your war spear through someone as a peasent when you know the enemy is most likely atleast 20 levels higher than you=)

No, everyone had to be a weak little peasant at some point. Whole heartedly against this.
