Guild: Turtlers

Requirements: shield skill 3 and higher

Equipment: Elite cavalry shield, steel buckler, ...

NO GO: two handed or polearm spam weapon

Goals:

in crpg: clear the streets of all those heavy armored 2h or pole spamming easy moders

and in Strategus: pair up with DaveUKRs elite mercenaries (k d of 2 or better required)

features:

You seek guidance? Our experts will assist you to find the best build for your playstyle, and train you on duel server. In a few weeks you should be okay to pwn most 2h and pole easy moders even in a fair 1 vs 1, although they have, in theory, all advantages on their side.
On the battlefield, you get the chance to be part of the fearsome turtle formation, you might have seen in Troy or in a Roman theme movie.

alliances: The guild is friendly to the dedicated horsemen clan the Grand Khans.

You sound pretty butthurt about 2h and polearms, 'easy moders' lol. Will enjoy breaking your shield on the battlefield as I know it must really get on your tits.

Hmm Yes the people who can easily get shot and have to manueally block attacks is 'Easy Mode'. A plank of wood helping you with both arrows and blocking obviously is 'Hard Mood'

I am never trolling. Almost.

Of course this guild is a serious attempt to do something against those easy-moders who just pick the biggest weapon they can find on the website and spam and backpedal and kill with 1 lucky hit.

My Penthesileia will need 2 more levels to be ok, but she is already capable to kill the average 2h/polespammer right now.

And of course you can join the guild. Why not? Get a char with some shield skill, and there you go.

I haven't got the money atm to buy a steel shield, but Im just telling you I am interested.

With regard to the above, 2H is truly easier in most cases.  shields slow down attack speeds, force you to use smaller stunable weapons, and break easy.  Even most sword'n'boarders put their shield on their backs when faced with more than one enemy.
