I have 300,000 coins and am willing to step right to the forefront of this anti-inflation movement by purchasing a loom point!  Step right up!  Help drive down costs by selling me your loom point for 300k!
Crush your enemies; see them driven before you; hear the lamentations of their women.

It is quite possible that there is being generated more gold than heirlooms, hence the price.

A lot of hardcore players are lvl 31+ hence don't reitre and produce heirlooms but generate lots of gold. They too increase the price quite severely.

It doesn't matter how expensive things get, loom points will always be of higher value than the majority of the market.  I see +1 looms for 700k and +3 looms for 2 mill, and I doubt many of them are ever sold, simply because you can loom something from 0 -> +3 for cheaper.

Therefore, selling loom points will remain beneficial for new players, because they have a better chance at turning 2 gens into a +3 item.

If anything having prices go down will only benefit the wealthy players more, since their money will suddenly be worth more on the market.
