Hi guys!
Today I noticed that Scottish Sword isn't used at all on the battlefield, even though it is quite a good weapon. Why?
Scottish Sword
weapon length: 80
weight: 1
difficulty: 7
speed rating: 103
weapon length: 80
thrust damage: 27 pierce
swing damage: 27 cut
slots: 1
4,867
Scottish Sword isn't used too much cause it is short - due to that fact, it is any good only with really high athletics, and yet there are better options to go with 9 str aka Katana. It isn't used by low low low str characters either, because it requires 7 str which requires converting skillpoints just to get a weapon and thus smashing the build - you can't build 11 athletics 10 weapon master "irunfastistabfast" character with 7 str.
How do I think it may be solved?
A reasonable ratio of buffs and nerfs to Scottish Sword.
Here's my idea how stats should be changed for that weapon to make it at least a bit more popular:
Scottish Sword
weight: 1
difficulty: 6 -1
speed rating: 103
weapon length: 80
thrust damage: 28 pierce +1
swing damage: 27 cut
slots: 1
cost: 5,617 +750
Blue - unchanged
Green - buffed
Red - nerfed
That would make using the Scottish Sword more appealing cause of low requirements and nice pierce, encouraging more people to use this weapon.
That would be all guys.
I hope you don't mind those changes in the worst scenario and love them in the best one.
