Got banned in NA1 because I hit 1 teammate, no warning, 3 day ban?

I think it was Midnighter, don't know for sure

I'm not angry, just surprised that I was given such a harsh punishment without warning.

Also, having no one respond for ~18 hours is pretty disheartening regarding the moderation of the official NA servers.

I am pretty sure it was Kalam ( or MD, for sure an ex-BRD Admin )who is a very good admin.  I have never seen him use his powers as admin ( same for MD ) and recently seen him at all.  If he banned you ( which I was there ) he most likely got messages from people and did what some Mods do, and ghost you.  He probably saw that TK as a purposeful one and decided to punish you.  Give him time to return from work and/or school.

Listen, I did not tk anyone purposefully, I team-wounded 1 person, once, and 5 seconds later (after I was being attacked by that person and hit as well) was banned without any warning.

I was not breaking any server rules before this, so I seriously doubt he was ghosting me upon request.

Good luck with what?  Is there no obligation of the admin to respond to ban appeals?  What is the reason for this request section then?

Everyone here is free to live his life as chosen, no one will ever be forced into doing his admin job and we do not fuck with other admins' bans.

The purpose of this section is to get people to admit that they scewed up so admins see they realize the problem and can shorten bans...I think =)

I admit I screwed up, but I also am asking for some explanation regarding no warning and the degree of punishment given.  There was no investigation or inquiry regarding what happened, just swift action.  If this is the way things are handled, there must be appeals or moderation will go completely unchecked.  In a game with such a small community, where servers are extremely limited (there are 2 NA battle servers that ever have any people) bans should be taken more seriously, as you are cutting off that person to the game, not just a set of servers.

Can someone please contact Kalam so he can help resolve the situation.

I saw you teamwound and teamkill right in front of me. As you are an experienced player who's been around almost since the beginning, I expect you to know better. I really don't mind if you're doing it to a clan mate or another player who knows who you are, but that didn't seem to be the case. At any rate, I'll unban you at midnight, Saturday.
