langes messer + shield ???

I have a question do langes messer do less damage when using with shield than using without shield because it is 2/1 weapon and in crpg calculator 2/1 weapons  do less damage with shield

No, since it is a 1-handed weapon.

If it was a 2-handed weapon that can be used with a shield it would have a penalty.

However, it is a 1-handed weapon that has a 2h alt mode.

It's a little confusing, but like rustyspoons said, it doesn't get the negative.

Basically a weapon like the katana is both 1H AND 2H at the same time, the way your character uses it is just dependent on whether you have a shield or are riding. Think of it as 50% 2H 50% 1H

Langes Messer is EITHER 1H OR 2H depending on the mode you use, so no penalty either way. Think of this as being able to swap between 100% 2H mode or 100% 1H mode.

So that means it will not have the negative -30% when you use it on horse back as a one hander?
While it will count fully as a two hander on foot when you have wpf in two hander?

Correct. It's my current sidearm, I've tried it in both modes and it works exactly like any other pure 1H in the 1H mode, and works exactly like any pure 2H in the 2H mode.

Okay, if you buy a 2 handed weapon that can be used with a shield the damage and speed reduction is somewhere around 33%. It will also use 1h wpf.

That is why if you want to do such a thing regularly, you are better off buying a 1 handed weapon that can be used 2 handed. There is no penalty then.

the Lange Messer is a 1h weapon and use 1h wpf.
when you press button for alternate mode its switch to 2h weapon and use 2h wpf without any damage reduction. its like switching a throwing weapon to melee only with 1h to 2h

In 1H mode I have no idea, but in 2H mode it uses polethrust animation, so you can literally have your character's hitbox touching theirs, and still get a good stab in. On the downside of this, it has a VERY short thrust in 2H mode.
