I stopped playing CoH after they shut down CoH:Online, I had more fun playing that than CoH:OF, once it died so did my will to play any other CoH game lol. Great games though.

I used to love COH, I became pretty good at the original and first expansion but if I went back to it now id probably struggle to beat the AI on normal.

This game is all about early game map control once u get to know all the maps an choke points an dirty strats your set to go

Played some COH and expansions except crappy Tales of Valor. Lost interest in CoH:Online due having awesome mods to play with friends. "Battle of Bulge" and some other quite realism-oriented conversions. But recently steam had sale for DoW2:Retribution, and being experienced with previous Dawn of War games I couldn't say no and I am glad I didn't.

Side note: THQ real time strategy games are IMHO superior to overrated Blizzard action-arcade with retarded unit AI. Although having own issues, most coming from game complexity.

Well I'm now lvl8 ranked in 1v1 ladder.. I think I can become lvl9 or 10 as I have become better recently.. Reading gr.org and watching shoutcasts to learn

Yeah and like Majer said, it has some issues, but it is also very complex with many dilemmas. This is no massive zergling rush game. Every single unit matters and can cost you the game. None the less all the strategic and tactical decisions. The micro is manageable, not extreme, since you are usually working with much fewer units than in other RTS games.. The zone based map and supply system is a also a stroke of genius. (Similar to what I suggested for strategus once)

All in all it's just great best RTS I ever played.
