Thought I would chip in with mine as well.
You've got the obvious ones really, the ones I spend a lot of my play time with and then the mainstreams and finally, some of my influences etc; (in roughly alphabetical order)
Bifi - Puts up with my abuse on teamspeak and still protects me and expects nothing in return, even if I turn and flee while he holds off 4 guys with 1wpf in 1 handed.
Bread Slices - These guys generally get themselves banned and provide me with hours of abuse.
Faarn - "Oh my God, let me out of here!". He knows what I am talking about.
Gurnisson - My rolemodel admin, blame him for how I control the servers.
Georges - Not on the topic of his fullplate flamberge swinging, Georges is always up for a laugh over anything else. You'll get those Panzers soon.
Jormglorm - For putting up with my constant shouts of "Commence the Jormaggedden" each time he does well, which is often. Also for never saying anything wrong, I mean, ever, contrary to his previous name, he is no less than a gentlemen.
Khorin - Certainly someone that you would want to have in your teamspeak channel.
Koldborn - Still up in the ranks of the best people to spend time with on teamspeak and in game.
Meow - Don't think anyone can't respect him for what he does for the community, I cannot truely understand how he is always so calm and helpful even if you spam him 400 times on irc saying that you broke/fixed his program!
Moribund - For having a better British accent than I do, and for being German. (There are plethora of other reasons but that has to be one of the most defining ones)
Renay - For being Renay.
Toc - Intelligent & a stand-up guy, need more of you.
Tor - One that i'm sure a lot of people will put forward, a great guy on teamspeak, sense of humour and obviously a great player.
Torben - One of the only cavalrymen I have respect for, despite the use of such a ridiculous class, he understands that allies don't like to be teambumped. He certainly respects people and their opinions, I wish more people were like him.
Zotte - Well informed and patron saint of "F*** your ts problems!". (Which actually means, ask me, i'll grumble but it'll still get it done.)
I've tried to keep more or less away from mainsteam players, they know who they are really, and it's not on skill, there are plenty of people who make this community great by just being good people. Whether or not they're helpful, have a minimum respect for human life or are genuinely nice people, they deserve respect far above the good players (although it's natural that some of them overlap).
There are plenty of people I haven't mentioned and I'd hope those people know that I have respect for them but you're probably too mainstream. ;)
