I actually care about this. And of course you are right to a certain extent. Randomly behaving like a retard is somewhat questionable.
What was especially fun about the 104th was that we only used everything that was in theme with the game. Lines, columns, musicians and punishment of those not following strict disciplin. I would almost, almost, go as far as to say we were having fun within the boundaries of the setting provided in the game.

The amount of people asking to join our regiment was not by trolls. It was people who thought we were good players with lines. I think that combination just annoyed them a bit...

I second this motion.

We were trying to play "seriously" (if roleplaying A LOT), and for fun purposes. Not with the intention of "trolling" (i.e. making people rage and disrupt their play with malicious intent).
If you did just join to troll Renay you certainly did not "get" the whole event.

we should play mount and gladius.

One of the many punishments

Decimation An extremely rare style of the execution penalty was called decimation and would only be used in extreme cases of cowardice or mutiny. Every tenth man of a centuria, cohort or even the entire Legion, randomly chosen by a draw of lots, was killed by being clubbed or stoned to death by the other members of his unit. The effect could be overwhelmingly positive or an absolute disaster.

So we can role play to the time of the era  :D
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

I joined to have fun, which I think we all had, I started trolling only after everyone else started trolling. But I couldn't care less what players of "the wider warband" community think of us. Of course it would be nice to be unbanned, but it's not too bad if we don't.

Until the main troop get unbanned how about trying this sunday the mod The Deluge (Aka Fire&Sword for warband) this mod offers so many teamwork opportunities like this or this or even this.
There is usually atleast 1 server with around 40-50 players on week-end's evening

http://thedeluge.net/en

A lot of pics from an event.

But does it have flutes?

Nope but it has grenade, sailable boat, trench digging, an awesome music and so many other features that compensate the lack of instrument.

Playing the drums while only your captain and a fellow brother of the 104th remains is always the best way to secure victory.

We have a two week ban, and after that I suggest we stop the teamkilling, we'll find some other way of punishment, maybe we'll shoot unobedient soldiers in the cannons.
