naw man, once someone keeps getting kicked, it gets old and they stop.  They might tk and get kicked 2 or 3 times, but then it gets boring and they move on.

It's not like some kind of serial maniac destroying the server.   Well, that's my experience anyways.

I think an essay ban is totally appropriate by the way...but 30 days on TOP of an essay ban is really crazy!  This is assuming he writes an essay ban that is apologetic.  If he's a jerk about it then yeah, whatever.

Team-killer: kick
Repeat team killer: 2 hour ban
Racist remarks: kick
Repeat racist remarks: 2 day ban
Cheating: perma-ban (with perole for good behavior)
Glitching/griefing: kick
Repeat glitch/greif: ban 2 days

How on earth can someone be banned for a month, let alone 3 years?
Too long, admins.  Punishment does not fit the crime.  If someone keeps acting up, keep banning them for 2 days again.  They will learn quick.

Essay topic:

"How getting banned 8 times by 6 different admins indicates that there is something wrong with my behavior".

He's a horrible repeat offender. He has been banned 3 times already for teamkilling, obviously hasn't learned his lession from previous bans, so they increase punishment.

I don't, I only misbehave on the forums (never in game) and have never deliberately TKed (because lord knows I TK too often on accident anyways, my poor team does not need any more help... I'm become the Infantry version of TK Huey.).

My ban record is spotless thank you, and there are quite a lot of players like me too.

EDIT: As for leeching, I find that stupid. If I'm going to play a game, I'm going to friggin play it, not waste my time suicide charging (because being dead is extremely boring in Battle) or standing around twiddling my thumbs (because I don't need a game to do that). It is more fun to at least grab a wooden stick and see how many times you can keep blocking and against how many people, or use a practice longsword and see how many people you can kill, then stand around doing absolutely nothing.
