I was banned in NA 1 about a month ago for trashtalking an admin.
I posted a complaint on the forums, which Canary and Tears responded to. I'd post a link, but I can't find the thread.
After a few posts, Tears became upset and changed by ban, making it global and permanent. I remarked that I didn't even care if my ban was revoked, since the thread was a complaint against the admin, not an unban request for myself, and he used this as an excuse to extend my ban.
It was extremely petty, in my opinion.
He told me to write an unban essay, and I complied. It did address the assigned topic, although it was also sort of a rant. It was rejected by Tears, the ultimate arbiter of justice, on the grounds that it wasn't apologetic enough.
Since it's been a month, I'm back to appeal the ban.
I'll write another essay if you want, although in my opinion a 1-month ban should be more than enough punishment for a little trashtalking.
