I've forced more than one person to start wearing better leg armor thanks to my sneaky foot shots, good leg armor is definitely worth it at least against the longer thrusting weapons. I always like finding people who think leg armor is useless, 2 shotting them a few times in the legs, and then noticing they got better boots.  Loom your body and head armor first though, as these get hit much more often.

yes this was one of the things i was debating about which armor i should wear

it was either the studded leather coat or the lemallars

i think i picked the studded due to the fact it was lighter

do you guys think they should put more importance on the legs?

liike a strong attack would cause knockdown or at east bare minimum have the same damage as body?

to me it makes no sense it should be taken into more importance(like to aim at the head for more damage)

Coming from a guy who wears a Rus Lamellar Cuirass and Rus Cavalry boots, I haven't really experienced me dying unusually quick due to leg hits, nor actually getting shot in them. On the rare occasions that my legs do get shot they take little damage. Going cheap on leg armour is a good weight and money saver imo.

Pretty sure it's the whole leg. There's a reason so many body armors give at least some leg armor.

I always aim for the legs against heavier armored opponents, it works wonders.

"Wtf? Did you just 2-shot me?!?! AXAXAXAXAXA" is a message I've seen many times...

Oh i don't remember numbers exactly, i know its reduced. i don't think as dramatically as 50% though.

I know the feet are counted as part of the body though and receive 100% damage.

Im gen 19 and i still havent loomed any leg armour.

I still havent loomed my Sallet either yet though... just so many things to loom, so much plate armour to pay for (by selling loom points) and then finding out that I wont be able to afford to craft plate in strategus and having to loom new stuff all over again lol...

My honest opinion is leave it till last. If there's definately nothing else you want to loom and you dont mind retiring 3 more times then go for it.
