new strength requirements for two handed weapons and polearms

Atm you need less strength for Great Long Axe and Great Sword than for Strong Bow and Sniper Crossbow.

Heavy weapons, that cut or crush right through horses, shields and men should be only available for real men (aka strength builds).

My suggestion:

all poleaxes, great swords and mauls require 24 strength,

all other 2h swords, long hafted blades and maces, glaives, awlpikes require 21 strength,

other 2h and polearms require 18 strength

For low levels should be some starting weapons like staff or practice longsword undisturbed, but all other weapons requirements should increase drastically.

This is the worst suggestion ever. Simply put diversity is what makes CRPG fun, not only does this effectively only limit archers from getting any 2hers crossbowmen and throwers will become drastically more powerful as they tend to have high strength anyway. Considering there have been no or almost no "pure" archers since the massive archer nerfs this would likely just drive archery completely out of existence. And if this suggestion was ever put in place I would argue that you should require dex enough to allow you to block, or move in any form of armour without massive speed inhibitions maybe even just some form of general speed penalty for not having enough dexterity. There is always a price that needs to be payed for every alteration in the game mechanics, this is to maintain a form of balance and if you basically limited any 2hers difficulty 12 and up to str builds something would need to justify it. Something other than being annoyed because archers carry axes and kill you with them.

I am right now playing a strength build 24/15 ps8 and its completly retarded, just no fun.. If I would deal real damage I would be fine, but I still need two swings for guys in mail with 48 cut weapon... But I die by 2-3 katana swings in mail. Not to mention everybody can outspam me because im f***in slow..

I would support your idea if damage of weapons or ps would be increased and high tier armors would get a buff, but currently strength build is no option for me...

This would just make str builds mandatory, so it's a bad idea.

Oh and I guess you think 1h weapons str requirements are fine, because you use 1h and want your class to be able to outspam everyone.

Well, it's bit high, i would rather go with 15/18/21 (for 1h too!).

If I ruled the world, every time someone posted an idiot suggestion like this, the would lose a finger. It would be justified.
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

While the OP's suggestion, much like all of his, is over the top, the current requiremets for some of the longest weapons in game are idiotically low, like 11 for lhb/glaive, etc.

Best ban reason ever:

I checked, the only Vagabond I found was Wolves_Vagabond_TheCruel, that guy is now unbanned. Ban reason was: "calling Zotte a cockswoggler".

The requirement for some weapons should indeed be increased, the 10 str requirement for Long Hafted Blade for example is ridiculous, but the max requirement for any weapon/armor shouldn't be higher than 18 str in my opinion.

why?

So you can stop Strength build at 18?

Having a lot of strength is useless because there is nothing for strength above 18. And the PS/IF don't weight the cost of less agility. With agility you are faster, you get WPF with weapon mastery so your are faster, you run faster with your Athletics and you can wear heavier shield (don't get why  ).
