Two weapons is just annoying :) and no, a shortened poleaxe is not an axe. A shortened poleaxe is a poleaxe, which is shortened!

I am with the guy. 2H are such a limited class. You have greatswords and a few unbalanced spamming weapons. Thats about it. Add more unique weapons, like something that is balanced and has a bonus against shield. Polearms have so much completely different weapons that require different fighting styles, I feel this is lacking in the 2H class.

Indeed :). Current poleaxe is short because polearms get reach reduction when swinging, more so than two handed weapons.

Great Maul is definitely the best crusher out there. You also have fighting axe as a balanced shieldcutter, usable as 2h. However, I wouldn't mind a top-tier axe which is balanced and have decent stats.

Fighting axe is much too short and is not very good for anything but shield breaking and when used in 1 hand. The shortened poleaxe would be effective versus shields and also versus non shielding targets, but less so than a non bonus versus shield weapon.
