I would, simply for the maps. The community servers always had fast map updates and a dedicated person or two to actually find and fix map problems. A lot of the maps were tweaked with additional wooden planks or ladders to remove one-entrance camping nests, and I loved that. Bad maps never lasted more then a few weeks. Though this is talking about Battle, I found the community siege server had attacker biased maps that I never cared for at all.
I hope though that they will have a better connection then old though, as they never ran as smooth as the Officials for me
Edit: I am assuming that they will have a more... Careful selection of admins though... If the communities are run same as before, I will only sometimes use them.
Oh yeah, and this:
Just put the few ATS maps that were good in the official server rotation and take out all the random plains/steppe ones. Variety is good, having a server heavily bias towards infantry (old ATS servers) or cavalry (official servers now) is bad.
If we do get "biased" maps, make sure you rotate the bias very evenly and not in clumps. Right now the officials favour cav spam too much, and the old ats servers had so much street fighting that it almost singlehandedly made NA playstyles revolve around STR builds.
